Microsoft Teams for Firstline Workers: Off Shift Access – V1
Off shift access is a new setting that can be enabled by IT administrators to provide a notification to Firstline Workers when they access the Teams app on their personal device outside payable hours. The users then need to provide consent to the notification before being able to access their app.

Safe Links for Office Online
Safe Links in Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection has been protecting your links in Office clients on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Now, we are extending this protection to Office Online. When a user clicks a link in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote in Office Online, Advanced Threat Protection will inspect the link to see if it is malicious. If the link is malicious, the user will be redirected to a warning page instead of the original target URL. This new capability further integrates and expands security across Office 365. In addition, we are simplifying the policy setup for Safe Links for Office that will combine the configuration for both Office Clients and Office Online into one setting. This feature will be ON by default.

Custom Mailbox Submissions and improvements to the Admin Submissions
We’re adding some enhancements to the admin submissions functionality of Office 365. You’ll now be able to submit .msg files, plus view more details about submitted content and policies or settings that may have allowed the message to bypass our filters. A new User Submission Policy will enable you to customize the message displayed to users before and after a submission, as well as choose the destination of a reported message. You can choose to send the message to your security team, a Microsoft expert, a custom mailbox of your choice, or a combination of these. The custom mailbox you choose will now be viewable in the Security center, and you’ll be able to trigger admin submissions from the custom mailbox as well.

Microsoft Authenticator App FullScreen Account Pages
The Microsoft Authenticator app is adding a new feature – the Fullscreen Account Details Page. When you click anywhere on your account tile, your account will expand into a fullscreen view. On the fullscreen view, you’ll be able to see your One-Time Password code (tap on the numbers to copy it). Additionally, you’ll be able to enable passwordless phone sign-in if your organization has requested you to turn that feature on. All other regular actions, such as approving a notification, adding a new account, or interacting with settings, will remain unchanged.

Introducing the Quarantine Administrator Role
We’re introducing the Quarantine Administrator RBAC Role. With this introduction, users can now add a role for Quarantine to role groups within the Office 365 Security and Compliance Center. The new Quarantine role will provide access to all components of Quarantine. We’ll be gradually rolling this out in mid-October 2019, and the roll out will be completed worldwide by the end of October 2019.
