Advanced eDiscovery: New feature to bulk-import custodians to a case
There are situations where a legal case or investigation can have hundreds of custodians. To help you manage large cases, we’re announcing a new feature that lets eDiscovery admins bulk-import custodians to an Advanced eDiscovery case. Instead of having to manually add each custodian to a case, the bulk-import feature lets you upload a CSV file with information about each custodian and their data sources. Advanced eDiscovery validates the custodians and then imports them to a case.

Advanced eDiscovery: Non Custodial Data Sources

Microsoft Information Protection: Data classification analytics
To better protect your data, the first step in the journey is for you to get a holistic understanding of the sensitive data in your digital estate and related user activities. The data classification capabilities in Microsoft 365 compliance center enable you to do that and take the next step towards establishing appropriate policies to better protect your sensitive data (e.g., by applying sensitivity labels and policies). Overview tab which shows you at a glance the locations of your digital content and most common sensitive information types and labels present. Importantly you don’t need to establish any policy to understand these details. Content Explorer tab provides you a richer understanding of your data at risk and visibility into amount and types of sensitive data in a document, including an integrated viewer displaying the full content in documents or emails. You can also filter by label or sensitive type to get a detailed view of locations where the sensitive data is stored. Activity Explorer tab provides a better understanding of activities related to your sensitive data and labels, such as label downgrades or external sharing that could expose your content to risk. It helps you investigate events that could be leading towards data leak scenarios (e.g., bulk label downgrades before sharing externally). Understanding these activities gives you the ability to identify the right policies for protection or data loss prevention (DLP) to ensure that your most sensitive data is secure.

By integrating with Azure Sentinel, organizations can now leverage their Discovery data within Azure Sentinel to define custom, longer retention times. Safe Links for Office Online
Safe Links in Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection has been protecting your links in Office clients on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Now, we are extending this protection to Office Online. When a user clicks a link in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote in Office Online, Advanced Threat Protection will inspect the link to see if it is malicious. If the link is malicious, the user will be redirected to a warning page instead of the original target URL. This new capability further integrates and expands security across Office 365. In addition, we are simplifying the policy setup for Safe Links for Office that will combine the configuration for both Office Clients and Office Online into one setting. This feature will be ON by default.

Visio: Improvements to Visio for the web when working on multiple pages
Multi-page operations is easier in Visio for the web. You can now drag pages and position them anywhere in your file. There is also a page navigation list, which will give you an one-shot view of all the pages in the current file and can be used to navigate non-sequentially through the pages. Also, you can create a copy of any existing page or insert a blank page anywhere in your file.

Authenticated Received Chain (ARC) is now enabled for Office 365 hosted mailboxes
All hosted mailboxes in Office 365 will now gain the benefit of ARC with improved deliverability of messages and enhanced anti-spoofing detection. ARC preserves the email authentication results from all participating intermediaries, or hops, when an email is routed from the originating server to the recipient mailbox. Before ARC, modifications performed by intermediaries in email routing, like forwarding rules or automatic signatures, could cause email authentication results to fail by the time the email reached the recipient mailbox. With ARC, the cryptographic preservation of the authentication results allows Office 365 to verify the authenticity of an email’s sender. Initially ARC will only be utilized to verify authentication results within Office 365, but plan to add support for third party signers in the future.
