Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention- Enriched Data Loss Prevention Alert Email Notifications for DLP Admins
There is now increased information in the alert email notification sent to the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) admin upon a DLP policy match. Previously a DLP alert email only included the user activity and the type of sensitive information matched in the alert. Now, DLP admins will get additional context such as alert ID, policy details, device details, and more. This will help admins quickly assess the priority of an alert and determine the next steps before navigating to the Microsoft Purview DLP alerts page or Microsoft 365 Defender DLP alerts page.

Microsoft Teams: External call routing settings
End users will now be able to change their external call routing settings directly from the Teams app, allowing them to decide how incoming PSTN calls are routed. Calls can be redirected based on existing unanswered call settings or sent to voicemail. This new capability provides more flexibility for handling customer communications.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention for endpoints – Microsoft Endpoint DLP Support for Windows on ARM (ARM64)
With this capability, customers can extend Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and actions to endpoints running Windows on ARM (ARM64) which allows them to detect and protect sensitive data in files part of their digital ecosystem. This allows admins to introduce policy controls for scenarios such as when an information worker using a Windows endpoint powered by ARM64 chipset is accessing sensitive files and performing an exfiltration action such as copying to a USB, or copy to clipboard, notepad, etc.

To increase the relevance of DLP alerts and incidents in Microsoft 365 Defender portal, we are ending the flow of the following legacy alerts into Microsoft 365 Defender portal: eDiscovery Search started or exported, successful exact data match upload, retention auto-labeling policy simulation completed, unusual volume of DLP policy matches, failed exact data match upload, MIP autolabel simulation completed, unusual volume of external file sharing, unusual volume of file deletion. These alerts were created as a result of legacy standalone alert policies. For a better experience, we recommend using the alerting toggle in the DLP policy authoring experience.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention for endpoints – Ability to fetch the original file resulting in a DLP policy match as evidence (Microsoft managed storage)
With this capability, Admins can choose to store a copy of the file that resulted in a DLP policy match. The admin uses this data to analyze the contents to confirm the full set of data that was exfiltrated to assess severity. To configure Microsoft managed storage, similar to customer managed storage, the user can go to endpoint DLP settings and select Microsoft managed storage. As compared to customer managed storage, the admin need not configure any additional settings like adding a blob, assigning permissions, or selecting storage in policy workflow.

Microsoft Stream: video reactions
This feature will allow users to add or remove reactions to specific points of a recorded video via Stream Web App and Embed. Viewers will be able to see how their colleagues feel about a video and show their support towards the video owner. These reactions will be present in the timeline to highlight the most important parts of the video and can be used for navigation. Also, owners of the video can see detailed analytics about when viewers are reacting to videos and have ability to disable the feature.

Policy tuning analysis provides admins with a real-time prediction of the number of users in a tenant that could potentially match a given set of policy conditions. With this update, policy tuning analysis will support insider risk policies that are scoped for priority content. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Planner: Rosters supporting container sensitivity labels
Organization admins will now be able to apply container labels to rosters in Microsoft Planner. This is enabled directly in Planner and by using Microsoft Graph APIs. Rosters are created automatically for task lists in Microsoft Loop. Tenant admins can make container labels for these rosters mandatory and set a default label, or not make them mandatory. The roster and the Planner plan contained by the Roster then follow container policy settings. For Graph API requests, if labels are mandatory as per tenant settings, roster creation fails if a label is not provided at the time of request.

Microsoft Teams: Specific People Link support for Collaborative Notes
With the launch of Collaborative notes, we’re also improving the shareable link type that is created by Collaborative notes to help make meetings more effective and secure. The new Collaborative notes component will generate a Specific People Link (PSL) by default. This link type offers more controlled access than Company Specific Link (CSL). This change also aligns with tenants who have their file-sharing policy set as Specific People. Tenants who previously had Collaborative notes disabled due to lack of PSL support can now enable and use the feature.

Microsoft Teams: Frosted Glass Backgrounds in Teams Meetings
We are not rolling out this feature at this time and will make a new announcement when we have an updated timeline. Frosted Glass is a type of background effect that helps users keep their privacy with a background blur, but in a more professional and creative way. It let users have graphics with a blur effect together. Frosted Glass can be activated with a PNG image, that usually comes with some graphics in a transparent background. With the new frosted glass effects, the transparent area is turned into a blur background while the graphic remains as the part of background effect. Available only in the new Microsoft Teams experience.

Users will be able to enable a second video stream to support both their Personal Video and Teams Content Camera on Desktop feature. When enabling the Teams Content Camera on Desktop feature, the Personal Video is expected to be maintained so long that the user selects a separate Camera to support the two video streams.
